Maurice is the senior lawyer at Pilon Barristers. He was called to the bar in 1981 after attending Osgood Hall Law School. Maurice also completed his Masters in law.
Throughout his lengthy legal career, Maurice has assisted clients with a wide range of issues including: criminal, real estate, family, estate, employment, and corporate matters. As a result, Maurice understands how different areas of law can impact individuals and he uses this experience to best position his clients’ matters. Maurice has been successful in both commencing and defending litigation and has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court and Court of Appeal.
Maurice has developed Pilon Barristers to focus on educating clients of their rights so that they are ultimately in the best position to make decisions regarding their matter. Maurice understands that litigation is both time consuming and costly for his clients. He therefore strives to achieve desirable and timely results without diminishing his focus on excellent work.

Johanne was called to the bar in 2017. She attended law school at the University of Ottawa and completed her Bachelors at York University with Honours.
Johanne focused her studies in law school on trial advocacy to develop a strong, confident demeanour and to develop a strong understanding of what skills are required for trial lawyers to be successful. During her schooling, Johanne worked with legal aid in order to get early on experience with client matters and assist in the issue of access to justice.
Prior to law school, Johanne worked closely with Maurice for many years.
